 While visiting friends to watch the Patriots (who sadly lost) I was charmed by Miss Maple. I couldn't resist sneaking a cell phone photo and she was more than happy to pose.

 I think I am finished with the seafood but we shall see. Cherry stones,king crab legs, and of course fish! There are so many more directions to go here.
 I need a course in digital photography. This painting has some nice subtle colors that just don't show up in this image.. Still, I am pleased enough with the painting.  Mussels, yum! These are a personal favorite.
 Washburn Island Oysters from the Atlantic Oyster Company are grown in our bay. I had to take their picture for a painting before we gobbled them up.
 This sweet girl was my sister's dog. She showed up at their NC farm one day and stayed for thirteen years. She just passed away after a long happy life and just had to be memorialized in a painting.
 A first venture into birds. He seems a little too round and it is hard to capture an 'expressive' look. Will explore Pinterest to see how others are doing it.
 I need to try this one again. In the photo the dog is not as angry or concerned as he looks here. Might also play with the back ground. Not all paintings come out as you have imagined them. They sometimes take a different turn and it is hard to reel them in.
